The questions come from the job description, not a question bank
A list of fifty common questions prepares you for a generic candidate. This interviewer reads the responsibilities, the skills the posting stresses and the seniority it implies, and asks about those: a concrete situation, the reasoning behind a decision, the result you can put a number on.

It asks each question aloud and waits. A ring fills while you pause, so you can see the turn coming back; say more and it empties, press Done when you have finished.

It never invents a result for you. Where a number would help and you did not give one, the stronger answer leaves a placeholder for the real figure.

It lets you finish
A pause of a few seconds hands the turn back, twice that after a sentence left hanging on “and”. Keep talking and it waits; press Done to hand the turn back yourself.
One follow-up where it counts
Where an answer left a gap (no example, no reasoning, no result), the interviewer digs in once, then moves on, as a screening round does.
It ends on time
The interview is planned for the time you have, and it closes with a proper goodbye before the clock runs out, not with a call that simply drops.
Hints when you want them
Switch hints on and the copilot answers each question as it is asked, exactly as it would on the real call. Leave them off to practise alone.

Questions a fair interviewer asks
Background, the skills the role needs, a situation to walk through, working with others. Never salary, visas, age, family or health.
What it does not do yet
- It speaks English only. The interface is translated; the interview is not, yet.
- It is one format: a screening round. There is no coding task on screen and no system design board in a mock interview.
- It counts as session time, like any call.
- The score is a language model’s practice feedback, not an employer’s assessment.
